Negative thoughts are sneaky. They creep in when you’re tired, when you’re stretched thin, or right before you’re about to do something bold. And if you’re not careful, you’ll come into agreement with them—without even realizing it.

That’s why I love this daily practice to bring awareness to these thoughts before they take root. Picture each thought like a seed in your hand. Then ask, “If I plant this, what will grow?” If it’s something that uplifts and empowers, accept it. But if it sounds like, “You always mess up,” or “You’re not good enough,” Say out loud: “Nice try, but no.”

That simple pause—the spoken rejection of the lie—is powerful. Because the words we speak carry weight. And when you replace the lie with truth, you reclaim your mind, your voice, and your momentum.
