We hear it all the time, don’t we?

“I hope this year will be better.”

“I hope I can lose weight and keep it off.”

“I hope I’ll make more money.”

Hope can be a powerful emotion in some contexts. It can inspire you to take a positive action you’re scared to take, or face down a fear because you have hope doing so will help you overcome it.

When hope motivates you to take action like that, it’s great!

But when you hide behind it by saying “I hope XYZ happens,” you’re resigning yourself to the back seat of your own life, when what you need to be doing is sitting behind the wheel.

So if you’re sitting around “hoping” things’ll get better but have no plan to make it happen, this video’s going to be a real eye-opener. Click on it to watch it.
