This video will likely ruffle some feathers, but I challenge you to be HONEST with yourself about the question I pose in this video…
What I’m about to share with you is pretty intense. I want you to really think about what I’m saying and be honest with yourself.
So what is it?
If you aren’t getting the results that you want…it could be that you’re not truly committed to your business.
What do I mean by committed?
Let me explain with a story…
There was a guru who was talking to a young man. The young man asked the guru to teach him what he had done to become successful…he wanted to learn how to earn a million dollars.
The guru said, “Ok, fine. If you want to learn, meet me on the beach tomorrow morning at 5:00am.”
The young man meets the guru on the beach the next morning. The guru led him into the water.
The young man was annoyed. He didn’t want swimming lessons! He wanted to learn how to be successful and make millions!
The guru insisted that the young man follow him into the water. So, the young man followed.
When the young man was in the water deep enough, the guru grabbed his head and held it under water for a few seconds and then let him up.
Of course, the young man was gasping for breath and asking the guru “why did you DO that?!?”
The guru asked the young man this question:
“When you were under water, what did you want?”
The young man responded: “AIR”
The guru then said, “That is the secret. When you want to succeed as badly as you wanted to breathe, that is when you’re going to be successful.”
That is commitment.
Now, I want you to reflect internally and ask yourself that same question. Do you want to succeed as badly as you want to breathe?
If the answer is no, that is one of the main reasons why you’re not getting the results that you want in your business.
NOT being fully committed will showcase itself in a variety of ways…
You’re willing to skip out on important trainings.
You’re willing to go months without working on your business.
You’re willing to let life get in the way.
Really, all of the past 4 reasons that I’ve share with you (not respecting your business, not being consistent in your business, not being focused on profit, and playing business owner) are symptoms of this 5th reason…that you’re not really committed to your business.
If you’re out looking only for free training, you’re not really committed to your business. You’re thinking that it might work…but it might not. You don’t have that belief in yourself.
If you see a course that costs a couple grand and you know that the people teaching that course are good, reputable people. You believe that you’re going to make back more than your investment by applying that training to your business. But you’re afraid to spend more money.
If you’re truly committed, you will do whatever it takes to find that money to invest in the program to help you get the results that you want!
I know that this has been a really blunt post and has probably ruffled some feathers, but the reality is that if you aren’t getting the results that you want you’ve got to do some soul searching and ask yourself, “What I am not doing? What am I lacking?”
Is it committment?
I shared this at our event in Boise a couple of months ago and there were tears shed. This hit home. But here’s the great thing! This probably is easily solved by recommitting yourself.
I challenge you to re-commit yourself TODAY in your business.
Say to yourself, “I want to succeed more that I want to breathe. I am ready and I am going to get the results that I want because I am committed to my business.”
Cheering you on to massive success,
