Let me ask you something…
Is your business stuck in neutral?
Are you not getting the results you’re looking for in your business?
If so it’s probably because you’re making one of 5 mistakes that I have noticed over the last year of working with my private coaching clients and having them submit accountability sheets to me every month.
Over the course of the past year, I have discovered that there are actually 5 super common reasons why people aren’t getting the results they desire in their business.
In this post, I will cover mistake #1.
Mistake #1 has something to do with a concept that Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley know a lot about.
Ready?
You are not respecting your business.
Aretha Franklin sings “R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Take Care TCB” (I sing in the video…must see!). :)
TCB was on Elvis Presley’s ring and was his signature saying.
It means “Taking Care of Business.”
What do I mean that you’re not respecting your business?
You’re not respecting your business when anything possible comes up and you decide that it is no longer time to work on your business.
One of the most commonly heard phrases in my students’ accountability worksheets was “life got in the way.”
The reality is that if you truly respect your business like you respect your job you wouldn’t let “life getting in the way” really affect you and throw you off your game.
For example: You have a falling out with a family member. Do you go to your job the next day? YES!
There are very few life circumstances that you would allow to take away from your job and where your boss would say it was “ok.”
But things like drama and stress are not excuses to not show up at your job and so they aren’t good enough to not show up in your business.
Don’t allow “life getting in the way” to become your comfortable excuse for why you’re not doing the things that you need to do in your business.
Sometimes you’ve gotta do things that you don’t want to do as part of building the business of your dreams.
If you want to have time freedom and financial freedom you’re going to have to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
Hopefully this isn’t a new concept. Cash is not going to come shooting out of your computer just because you bought some program or system. You have to put in the work and you need to make sure that you are showing up in and respecting your business.
Stay tuned for my next video in which I’ll share the 2nd biggest mistake that I see my students making that is stopping them from getting the results they want in their business.

Cheering you on to massive success,
You’re teaching and I’m learning, God bless you
So sweet of you! Thank you! ❤❤❤
You hit the nail right on the head! There are so many times when things have gotten in my way, mostly health related, but I kept on going. I do have some time set for me time, even if it turns in to just 15 minutes. I make calls on the exercise bike, in the bathtub, while walking the dog, etc. If an opportunity presents itself I’m there!
Learning that I have to really pay attention to the most important task in income producing activity…which is the hardest…actively prospecting online…then “if I have time…do the fun stuff…creating content and sharing…
It all means showing up every day at activity that pushes me…
